As we begin shaping the next Wombs of the World Summit, we are opening our call for workshop and panel proposals.
We are inviting members of this global community to share their work, their voice, and their lived wisdom.
The Summit is a space for cross-cultural learning, where birth is honored as sacred and knowledge is shared with depth and integrity.
We are looking for offerings that feel rooted, expansive, healing, and transformative. Work that is powerful, deeply intentional, and fosters real connection.
We welcome both structured educational workshops and deeply experiential spaces.
We are open to a wide range of offerings, including those that explore:
-
Traditional and cultural birth practices
-
Ceremony, ritual, and spiritual dimensions of birth
-
Postpartum care and community-based support
-
Womb work and cyclical awareness
-
Plant medicine and ancestral healing practices
-
Trauma-informed care and nervous system awareness
-
Reproductive justice and systems awareness
-
Birth as ceremony and rite of passage
-
Storytelling as healing
-
Embodiment, movement, and somatic practices
-
Creative expression through art, music, and voice
-
Community care models and collective healing
We also invite applications for panel conversations, especially those that bring multiple perspectives into dialogue across cultures, disciplines, and lived experiences.
Exchange, Compensation + Reciprocity
We value reciprocity, transparency, and abundance.
All selected facilitators and panelists will receive:
-
A complimentary Summit ticket
-
Visibility within the Wombs of the World network
-
Additional compensation and creative bonuses will be offered based on overall ticket sales, sponsorship, and the scope of the offering.
We are committed to honoring the time, energy, and wisdom shared, and will remain in open communication as this evolves.
A Note on Positionality
We ask all applicants to reflect deeply on their relationship to the work they are presenting.
This includes:
-
Cultural lineage and connection to the practices shared
-
Lived experience versus learned or observed knowledge
-
Awareness of appropriation versus respectful exchange
This space is one of reverence. We are committed to holding it with care.
