Welcome to the Wombs of the World Scholarship Application.
This scholarship is specifically for our Online Full-Spectrum Doula Training (and is not applicable to our travel programs).
At our core, we believe that birthwork knowledge belongs to everyone: across cultures, borders, and financial realities.
At the same time, we deeply value those who invest in themselves and in this work, because it is through our community that we are able to reach and support so many more mothers, families, and birthworkers around the world.
Wombs of the World is an ecosystem of reciprocity, care, and shared growth. Whether you join through full enrollment or with support, you are part of what allows this work to continue expanding.

How This Works
We believe in transparency and in meeting you where you are.
You can think of this application as part of a sliding scale model, with three levels of access:

Accessibility Discounts — for those who are able to invest but would benefit from some support

Partial Scholarships — for those needing more substantial financial assistance

Full Scholarships — reserved for those navigating the most significant financial and structural barriers
We offer a limited number of full scholarships each season (typically three), while partial scholarships and accessibility discounts are determined on a case-by-case basis.
As a small but mighty organization, we approach this as a reciprocal exchange. Those receiving partial or full scholarships may be invited into deeper involvement within the Wombs of the World community in ways that feel aligned and achievable. Whether that’s storytelling, content creation, community outreach, or supporting the growth of this work in your region.
It takes many hearts and hands to create meaningful change in global maternal health, and this is one of the ways we build that together.
Process & Timing
Please fill out the application below with honesty and intention.
We review applications on a rolling basis, and you can expect to hear from us within approximately two weeks.
If you are being considered for a partial or full scholarship, we may follow up with a few additional questions or a short call to better understand your context and goals.
Full and partial scholarship recipients are selected seasonally, with decision points around:
