An Affiliate Program for Doulas That Helps Fund Training and Travel

Birthwork is a labor of love. It is also work that requires continued learning, deeper community, and access to experiences that are not always financially within reach.

At Wombs of the World, we are constantly looking for creative solutions to very real problems.

We are a tiny but mighty, bootstraps organization. Like many of the doulas, birthworkers, educators, and community leaders we serve, we are entrepreneurial, deeply mission-driven, and always looking for ways to make meaningful education and experiences more accessible.

That is why we created the Wombs of the World Community Affiliate Program, an affiliate program for doulas and birthworkers that allows you to earn points toward courses, trainings, Summit admission, and travel support by sharing trusted childbirth education with your community.

We originally launched the program about two years ago. We have now completely revamped it to make it much easier to join, understand, and actually use.

What is the Wombs of the World Community Affiliate Program?

The Wombs of the World Community Affiliate Program allows you to share our online childbirth education course, Preparing for Parenthood, with clients, friends, and expectant families in your community.

When you join, you choose your own unique affiliate coupon code.

Your code gives your community 20% off Preparing for Parenthood, our comprehensive, self-paced childbirth education course.

Every qualifying enrollment made with your coupon code earns you one Wombs Point.

You can save your points and redeem them for eligible Wombs of the World courses, doula training, Summit admission, travel support, and other available rewards.

They use your code. You earn points. You choose your reward.

How does the affiliate program work?

The process is intentionally simple.

1. Apply to become an affiliate

Complete our short affiliate application and choose the unique coupon code you would like to share with your community.

You do not need to become a professional salesperson or have a huge social media following. The program is designed for people who genuinely believe in the resource and want to help more families find it.

2. Share Preparing for Parenthood

You can share your coupon code with doula clients, friends, family members, expectant parents, community organizations, or anyone looking for comprehensive online childbirth education.

You might:

  • Include the course in your doula package

  • Gift the course to clients after they book with you

  • Add it to your website or client-resource guide

  • Recommend it in an online parent group

  • Share it on social media

  • Place a flyer in a birth center, clinic, studio, or community space

  • Introduce it to pelvic-floor therapists, lactation professionals, massage therapists, childbirth educators, or other perinatal providers

3. Earn and redeem Wombs Points

Every qualifying Preparing for Parenthood enrollment made with your coupon code earns you one Wombs Point.

Your points accumulate and can be redeemed for eligible Wombs of the World offerings.

What is Preparing for Parenthood?

First and foremost, my heart is that of a doula.

Preparing for Parenthood was created from years of supporting families and having the same conversations again and again.

My goal is to help parents feel informed, supported, and genuinely excited about giving birth.

The course explores:

  • Labor and the physiology of birth

  • Comfort measures and coping tools

  • Birth options, procedures, and interventions

  • Partner communication and preparation

  • Placenta delivery

  • Early feeding and newborn transition

  • Newborn basics

  • Postpartum preparation, recovery, and support

  • Nervous-system regulation

  • Global birth practices and perspectives

  • Emotional and spiritual preparation

  • Trauma awareness and the possibility of healing through birth

  • Questions families can ask as they make informed decisions

Preparing for Parenthood is options-based and designed to support families preparing for hospital birth without suggesting that there is only one right way to give birth.

It offers a broad foundation without overwhelming families or going too deeply into every possible subject. Parents receive context, shared language, practical tools, and a healthier headspace as they prepare for birth and postpartum.

One parent shared:

“The course helped me heal from my first birth, which didn't go according to plan. The second time around, my partner and I both felt so much more prepared.”

You can also watch this lesson about using birth as a somatic healing experience to get a sense of the tone and approach woven throughout the course.

Why is this childbirth education course helpful for doulas?

Preparing for Parenthood is designed to complement doula care, not compete with it.

Throughout the course, I continually remind families of the value of hiring a doula.

The course gives clients a strong educational foundation so doulas can spend less time explaining every foundational concept from scratch and more time exploring each family's individual needs.

Your prenatal time can go deeper into:

  • Personal questions and concerns

  • Birth preferences

  • Emotional preparation

  • Previous birth experiences

  • Partner communication

  • Personalized comfort measures

  • Birth planning and informed decision-making

  • The relationship and trust only you can build

You are not removing childbirth education from your care. You are moving foundational learning into a format clients can explore on their own schedule and return to whenever new questions arise.

That creates more space for interpretation, personalization, listening, and meaningful support.

How can doulas include the course in their packages?

One of the simplest ways to participate in the affiliate program is to include Preparing for Parenthood directly in a doula package.

You can factor the affiliate enrollment price into your package fee, purchase the course as a gift after the client books, and ask them to complete certain lessons before your prenatal appointment.

When you meet, they already have a basic understanding of labor, birth options, comfort measures, interventions, feeding, and postpartum preparation.

Instead of spending an entire appointment defining early labor and active labor, you can discuss what those stages might look like for this particular family.

You can also offer the course as:

  • An included package benefit

  • Part of a premium doula package

  • An optional client add-on

  • A separately recommended educational resource

The goal is not to replace your knowledge or the education you provide. The goal is to give families more information than limited prenatal time may allow while helping you make that time deeply personal.

A childbirth education affiliate program that creates a win-win-win

This program is designed to benefit the whole ecosystem.

Families benefit

Expectant parents receive thoughtful, empowering, and options-based childbirth education at a discounted rate.

Birthworkers benefit

Affiliates earn points toward continuing education, doula training, Summit admission, and eligible travel support.

The wider maternal-health movement benefits

Every course shared helps support the larger Wombs of the World ecosystem, including education, scholarships, global partnerships, and community-rooted maternal-health initiatives.

We are up to so much good, and we genuinely need more hands on deck.

Helping us place this course in front of pregnant people does more than promote a product. It helps families feel better prepared, gives birthworkers a pathway toward deeper learning, and helps us continue investing in the larger work we all care so deeply about.

Who can become a Wombs of the World affiliate?

The program is especially useful for:

  • Birth and postpartum doulas

  • Childbirth educators

  • Lactation professionals

  • Pelvic-health providers

  • Massage therapists and acupuncturists

  • Birth centers and doula collectives

  • Perinatal wellness professionals

  • Past Wombs of the World students and travelers
